The Every Human Has Rights Media Awards
Internews is inviting
mainstream and citizen journalists from around the world to participate
in its Human Rights Media competition by submitting world and current
affairs reports that have been published after the 15th of September
2007 and which could be used to illustrate one or several articles of
the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in a context that is relevant
to the issues facing our world today.

Fellowships at the National
Endowment for Democracy
The National Endowment for Democracy (NED) invites applications to its
Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellows Program. Established in 2001 to enable
democracy practitioners and scholars from around the world to deepen
their understanding of democracy and enhance their ability to promote
democratic change, the program is based at NED’s International Forum for
Democratic Studies, in Washington, D.C.
