Digital Media Asia (DMA), Asia-Pacific’s largest regional news media industry event on digital trends, revenue and technology, will take place in the city of Manila, capital of the Philippines, on April 28 and 29, 2026.
According to the World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA), organizers of the event, the conference will feature leading editors and other decision‑makers shaping the media industry’s future discuss and address the most critical challenges facing journalism today, from the relentless pace of digital transformation and the fight against misinformation to sustaining audience trust and adapting to new business models.
It said the DMA has been at the forefront of transformation in the news media industry since its inception in Singapore in 2009 and attracts hundreds of top-level publishers, editors and digital executives who share best practices, business models, case studies, solutions and their experiences in the news media business.
The conference is open to media owners, publishers, chief executive officers (CEOs), chief operating officers (COOs), chief technical officers (CTOs), chief marketing officers (CMOs), chief compliance officers (CCOs), chief revenue officers (CROs), chief digital officers (CDOs), chief product officers (CPOs), editors, newsroom leaders, strategy and business development leads, and anyone keen on learning best practices from around the world. Ideas and solutions for all those invested in building sustainable news organisations will be presented at the conference.
The conference will be organised into two tracks, namely the Revenue Summit and the Technology Summit.
In the Revenue Summit, speakers from renowned news media organisations from all over the world will present their case studies and share their experiences about how they have successfully transformed their organisation and created sustainable digital revenue models for their companies.
In the Technology Summit, WAN-IFRA is inviting speakers from among publishers and its technology partners to talk about how they are using technology to improve the newsroom, making them more effective and efficient.
There will also be presentations from innovators that highlight the latest technology used to optimise digital revenue, whether from reader revenue or advertising.
