The AFRINIC-23 meeting will take place from November 28 to December 4, 2015 at Hotel Azur Le Gilbert’s in Pointe Noire, République du Congo. “Anyone with an interest in the technical and governance aspects of the African and global Internet” is welcome to attend the meetings.

AFRINIC, the African Network Information Center, is the regional Internet registry (RIR) for Africa and the Indian Ocean Region. The AFRINIC headquarters is located at Ebene City in Mauritius.

AFRINIC plans to hold workshops and tutorials from November 28 to December 1 while plenary sessions will be held from December 2 to 4.  In addition, an extraordinary AFRINIC Annual General Members Meeting will take place on December 3, following a call for the extraordinary meeting during the previous AGMM, which took place at AFRINIC-22.

AFRINIC says it holds two open public policy meetings every year in various locations throughout its service region and that the meetings “provide a unique opportunity for Internet-related individuals and organisations to gather to discuss the policies governing Internet number resource distribution in the African region, to share technical knowledge, and to attend workshops and tutorials.”
