Bournemouth University New Media Writing Competition Seeks Entries

Bournemouth University, Dorset in the United Kingdom is now accepting entries for its annual New Media Writing Prize (NMWP).

NMWP is looking for innovative and interactive storytelling (fiction or nonfiction) written specifically for delivery and reading/viewing on a PC or Mac, the web or a hand-held device such as an iPad or mobile phone. It could be a short story, novel, documentary or poem using words, images, film or animation with audience interaction.

The award will encourage and promote the best in new media writing and lead the way toward the future of the ‘written’ word and storytelling. The NMWP has attracted entries from the very best and most innovative writers in the field.

The overall winner will receive GB£1,000 (US$1,341). The student winner will receive a three-month work placement at the e-learning company Unicorn Training in Bournemouth, United Kingdom.

The general applications close on November 24, 2017 while applications for students closes December 15, 2017.
