The Common Ground Research Networks have announced a call for proposals for the 2026 Imagining Creative Worlds Online Symposium, inviting scholars, artists, designers, educators, media practitioners, curators, publishers, students, and other creative professionals from around the world to submit their work for the two-day virtual event scheduled for November 11 and 12, 2026.
Hosted by The Arts in Society Research Network, a space where creative practice meets critical reflection, as part of the Common Ground Imagining Futures Series, the symposium aims to bring together participants from diverse creative disciplines to explore emerging ideas, share research, and foster collaboration through live and asynchronous presentations, workshops, digital posters, mentoring sessions, and interactive discussions on the CGScholar Symposium Platform.
According to the organisers, the 2026 edition is designed as a cross-disciplinary forum rather than a conventional online conference, providing opportunities for participants working in fields such as arts, design, communication and media studies, publishing, museums, visual culture, and creative practice to exchange knowledge and contribute to broader conversations about the future of creative expression and cultural engagement.
