The Dynamic Coalition on the Sustainability of Journalism and News Media (DC-Sustainability), an officially recognised coalition within the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) has issued a call for papers, resources and recent literature on media sustainability and internet governance as it launches preparations for its IGF-focused activities for 2022.

This year year’s annual report, according to DC-Sustainability, will focus on bringing the excellent research and work being done on digital media policy to the broader IGF community. To this end, it requests that interested applicants suggest reports, policy briefs, or other content that they have produced over the past year that focuses on the intersection of media sustainability and Internet governance.

The DC-Sustainability annual report will feature a compilation of executive summaries and overviews of this literature, and it will be hosted online as an essential repository that gathers together this important work.

DC- Sustainability is interested in research studies, discussion or policy papers, academic papers or analyses and learning documents and other reports if they were published in 2022 or are planning to publish by Sept. 30, 2022 on news media sustainability and internet governance/tech policy etc.

Interested persons should share the brief details of their research work using this Google Doc link.

DC- Sustainability will ask authors to provide a brief abstract or executive summary of the work and up to three recommendations for the IGF community, and he/she will be invited to present at session at the IGF 2022 in November in Addis Ababa or virtually.
