Entries are open for the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards from photographers worldwide, including novice and expert photographers. Photographers can submit up to 10 images, including four portfolio entries and an additional six entries for the different categories.
The Award, open to wildlife photography novices, amateurs, and professionals, celebrates the hilarity of our natural world while highlighting the importance of protecting it. From a surprised otter to a swearing turtle, Comedy Wildlife’s photographs transcend cultures and ages, bringing a smile to everyone’s face.
Interested applicants can enter up to 3 images into each category, except for the Amazing Internet Portfolio category, where applicants must enter 4 pictures. If the picture is hilarious but in the wrong category, the organisers will take it into the right category.
The available award categories are: Alex Walker, Serian Mammals, Spectrum Photo Birds, ThinkTANK Reptiles and Amphibians Category; the Fish and Other Aquatic Species, Insects, Amazing Internet Portfolio; Nikon Junior Category (Under 16); Nikon Young Photographer Category (Under 25); and Video Clip Category.
Winner of the Comedy Wildlife Photographer of the Year will hold a massive title and brought into limelight as the top photographer.
The winner in the Nikon Junior category will receive an amazing Z 30 Nikon Camera and lens.
The winner in the Nikon Young category will receive a Z 8 Nikon Camera and Kit. This incredible full-frame hybrid camera offers exceptional image quality, precision, and flexibility in a compact and lightweight body. In addition, the winner of the Young Photographer Award will also receive the latest iPad fully loaded with the fantastic and best-selling photo editing software courtesy of Affinity Photo 2.
All other category winners will receive the best-selling backpacks in the business.
