The International Fact-Checking Network, in partnership with Pagella Politica, will host the Fifth Global Fact-Checking Summit from June 20 to 22, 2018 in Rome, Italy.

The summit seeks to address some of the most important issues in fact-checking and misinformation, including reaching out with facts to skeptical audiences; new formats for fact-checking; acceleration and automation of the fact-checking process and fact-checking and the platforms

The summit is free to attend but interested applicants are required to have expressed their interest to attend.

The organizers say they will give priority to participants from organizations that are actively conducting fact-checking.
