Google, the American multinational corporation and technology company, has opened applications for a three-month hybrid accelerator programme for growth-stage technology startups. The accelerator programme is designed to bring the best of Google’s programmes, products, people, and technology to communities across Africa.
Each cohort of 10-15 startups will come together to tackle technical challenges that can help grow their businesses through a mix of remote and in-person, 1-to-1, group learning sessions, and sprint projects.
During the course of the programme, founders will have the opportunity to outline the top technical challenges for their startup, and will be paired with experts from Google and the industry to solve those challenges and grow their business.
The programme will feature deep dives and workshops focused on product design, customer acquisition, and leadership development for founders.
Participants will receive Early Access Programme and Trusted Tester benefits for Google’s AI products, as well as apply for Google Cloud credits to support their business’ growth. Find out more.
Participants will also receive free Cloud TPU access to accelerate open-source machine learning research. Find out more.
Key benefits of the programme include equity-free support, mentoring, training, access to experts, early access to AI products, Google product credits, strategic support, and technical project partnership.
To be considered for the programme, startups must demonstrate traction, ideally growth-stage startups; build a scalable product or service with a significant total addressable market and a defensible growth model; be deeply technical, preferably leveraging technologies like machine learning and AI; and show commitment from CTO and/or technical roles to participate and engage in required programme sessions.
Google is committed to building accelerator classes with great startups and encourages applications from all qualified startups.
Applications close by March 18, 2026. Please visit https://bit.ly/4bZ4FxW to apply.
