The Internet Governance Forum (IGF) is inviting nominations from all stakeholder and regional groups for the 2022 IGF Multi-stakeholder Advisory Group (MAG)
and the MAG Chair in line with the established principles and practices of MAG rotation and selection of its members.
Established by the United Nations Secretary-General in 2006, the IGF MAG is instrumental in planning the programme of the annual IGF. The MAG terms of reference, including individual member responsibilities, group procedure, and the composition of the MAG are available at the IGF website.
IGF encourages governments, the private sector, civil society, and technical communities to submit names of candidates from developed and developing countries as well as from countries with economies in transition. Successful nominees will become part of the MAG for a period of one year and are expected to bring the perspectives of their respective groups to the multistakeholder consultation process.
Nominations should be submitted using the online submission template available at the IGF website to the IGF Secretariat latest September 10, 2021. Nominations for the MAG Chair should be sent directly to the IGF Secretariat through the email address: nominations [at] intgovforum [dot] org.
The IGF expresses its gratitude to all past and present members of the MAG and the MAG Chair, who have contributed their time, effort, and valuable guidance to ensure the smooth and effective running of the IGF.
