International Media Association Invites Applications for ’30 Under 30’ Awards

The International News Media Association (INMA), a global community of market-leading news media companies that inspires news media companies to embrace business practices that sustain impactful journalism, is inviting young people working in the news media sector to apply for the INMA “30 Under 30” Awards which seek to celebrate the outstanding achievements and promising careers of young professionals in the news media industry.

The “30 Under 30” Awards, which is a part of INMA’s Young Professionals Initiative, seek to identify 30 rising stars under the age of 30 with early career achievements, insights into innovation, ability to influence, and likely management skills across advertising, audience, business intelligence, content and product, and leadership functions at media companies.

INMA “30 Under 30” Awards will recognize five participants among INMA’s six global communities which are Advertising, Data, Leadership, Editorial Leadership, Product, and Reader Revenue. The awards are based on merit and will be given to a class of “30 Under 30” that represents the diverse range of global markets in terms of gender, color, race, and more.

Candidates for the “30 Under 30” Awards must be employed by a news media company and demonstrate a keen understanding of industry trends, along with the ability to shape the news media industry.  Interested applicants must be under the age of 30 as of September 1 and must have demonstrated expertise and accomplishments in their career.

The selection process will be overseen by members of INMA’s Young Professionals Initiative and Members of the wider INMA community.

Participants in the INMA 30 Under 30 Awards will receive early career achievements, insights into innovation, and leadership potential. Furthermore, they will also get international recognition through a virtual announcement, INMA blog, and press release.

Interested applicants can apply directly using the online application form, while those above the age of 30 can nominate colleagues via the same application form.
