Entries are invited from students around the world for participation in the International Students Travel Video Contest, titled: Life after Lockdown.
For the many students and global exchange participants eager to travel once again, this will be the year for them to enter this contest by sharing what their international education or exchange plan is once travel restrictions are open.
Interested participants must be able to tell say how COVID-19 has impacted their international education or cultural exchange experience abroad and their ideal international education or cultural exchange after Covid-19.
There will be prizes in the video contest and they include, First Place Winner, $4,000; Second Place Winner, $500; Third Place Winner, $250 and Viewers’ Choice Award Winner, $1,000.
To participate in the contest, an applicant must create their two-minute video specifically for the 2020 InternationalStudent.com Travel Video Contest and take the following steps to enter:
- Review all of the rules and regulations and ensure he/she is eligible and that video conforms to all of the requirements. An applicant should send an email if he/she has any question.
- Entries must be received on or before October 13, 2020. Applicants will be notified through email if they make the final list. Entries must be submitted by completing the online entry form.
An applicant must be 18 years or older, currently, be an international student or on an exchange programme, or had his/her international student education or on exchange program interrupted, or have a future international student journey or exchange programme.
Applicants’ video must be created specifically for the current InternationalStudent.com Travel Video Contest. The maximum length for the video is two minutes. There is no minimum length. The video must be uploaded to one of the following three platforms: YouTube, Vimeo or DailyMotion.
In addition to the link to the video, each applicant must also submit a fully completed online entry form.
The deadline for submission of applications is October 13, 2020, latest 11:59 PM, EST. Winners will book all their flights and other travel arrangements.
Winners for the InternationalStudent.com Video Contest will be announced on the InternationalStudent.com website on November 20, 2020 and will also be notified by email and telephone calls.
Winner will be expected to submit one blog monthly to InternationalStudent.com and will start immediately after the winner is announced, and continue through the year until a new winner is announced. Contributions are expected at least once a month after winning the contest.
