Media in Conflicts Seminar Seeks Application for its Annual Training

The Media in Conflicts Seminar (MICS) for 2013, taking place in Israel, is accepting applications from prospective participants from around the world. The training will hold from August 25-29, 2013 at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC), Herzliya. Participants will be offered fully funded accommodation, transportations and meals during the period of the seminar.

The 5-day seminar includes:

–          Lectures by top experts in the fields of conflict journalism, terrorism, defense and security, Middle East,        International law and more.

–          A strategic tour of Jerusalem and the conflict areas

–          Hands-on workshops

–          A 5-day fully subsidized stay in Israel (Not including airfare)

The Media in Conflicts Seminar (MICS) is an academic and professional communications seminar held annually in Israel.  Established in 2009, MICS has exposed over 100 future media leaders from 31 countries to the fascinating world of conflict-journalism.
