Mozilla Foundation, a global nonprofit dedicated to keeping the Internet a public resource that is open and accessible to all, has called for participation in the Mozilla Festival (MozFest) 2025, scheduled to be held at the Poble Espanyol in Barcelona, Spain, from November 7 to 9. Mozilla plans to use the event to gather the world’s most curious and creative minds for three days of workshops, debates, and hands-on collaboration to reimagine the role of technology in human life.
The Mozilla Festival, which began 15 years ago as a grassroots event, has since grown into a global movement for a healthier internet. These are the milestones that marked the evolution and impact of a festival dedicated to creating a more inclusive digital world.
The Festival will provide an opportunity for participants to explore, collaborate, and share bold ideas. Mozilla promises to make the event worthwhile for every participant, whether they are there to learn a new skill, challenge assumptions, or connect with innovators shaping the future. Activities at the event will include debates, labs, forums, showcases, talks, and installations.
Dr Ruha Benjamin, Professor of African American Studies at Princeton University in the United States and the Founding Director of the Ida B. Wells JUST Data Lab, will be the Headline Speaker at the 2025 Mozilla Festival.
The Festival venue, Poble Espanyol Barcelona, is located at Av. de Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia, 13, Sants-Montjuïc, 08038 Barcelona.
