Index on Censorship, a London-based non-profit that campaigns for freedom of expression worldwide has announced the opening of nominations for the 2019 edition of its Freedom of Expression Fellowship Awards.
During the fellowship period, fellows will receive capacity building, coaching and strategic support. Fellows will also receive assistance throughout the year, beginning with an all-expenses-paid training week in London.
Through the fellowships, Index seeks to maximise the impact and sustainability of voices at the forefront of pushing back censorship worldwide. Therefore, it provides an opportunity to build new skills and to network with other groups fighting for similar causes.
