The global transparency alliance, Open Goverment Partnership (OGP) will in mid-March 2017 launch a new website that will, among other things, feature more images from the OGP Civil Society Community as well as highlight their works. For this reason, it is running a photo contest through its Instagram account: https://www.instagram.com/opengovpartnership/. The photo contest explores the theme: “What does open government look like?”

Interested persons and organisations interested in participating in the photo contest are encouraged to post a photo on their personal/ organization’s Instagram account and use the hashtag #opengovgram.  Participants can submit any photo even if it has appeared elsewhere as long as they own the right to these photos.

Individuals and organisations without Instagram account who wish to participate are encouraged to submit their photos by emailing them to jacqueline.mcgraw@opengovpartnership.org with #opengovgram in the subject line.

The winning photo will be used to inaugurate the launch of OGP’s new website in March and the person and/or organisation which submitted the photo will also be featured in OGP’s monthly newsletter.

Individuals and organization interested in entering the photo contest have between February 1 to February 28, 2017 to submit their entries.

Further information on participating in the photo contest is available at http://www.opengovpartnership.org/events/ogps-photo-challenge-opengovgram.
