The Online News Association (ONA) is now accepting application from women around the word to participate in its Women’s Leadership Accelerator programme.

The programme is design to teach leadership skills and tools for navigating change. Participants will focus on a challenge specific to their careers, whether an obstacle to overcome or an aspirational goal to achieve, either within their organizations or as an independent project.

The program will kicks off with an intensive week of mentoring, discussion and learning from some of the top minds in digital media.  Selected journalists will work closely with mentors on challenges unique to their careers and also receive support and coaching from ONA throughout the year. The programme culminates in a workshop at ONA’s annual conference.

ONA will select 26 candidates for potential, need and diversity across ethnicity, age, geography, technology platforms and skill sets.

The program offers a limited number of travel stipends. For the workshop at ONA19, registration, travel to and lodging in New Orleans will be covered.

Receipt of applications closes on November 30, 2018.
