The Pan African Writers Association (PAWA) and Accessible Publishers, Nigeria have announced a call for participation in a writing project from African Writers to produce English and French books for African Nursery, Primary and Secondary school students as well as Young Adults aged between 14 and 18 year
The books which should be designed for the public awareness campaign against the pervasive culture of open defecation in some African countries will be selected through an online workshop.
To be selected for the workshop, interested writers should send a one-page synopsis of their proposed short stories to pawahouse@gmail.com and copy editorial@accessiblepublishers.com.
The synopsis should indicate the target age group and must be submitted by May 15, 2023.
Successful Writers will be invited to an online workshop which will take place from June 1 to 3, 2023, during which publishable manuscripts will be finally selected.
