The Retail Technology Innovation Hub, a UK-based media and information platform covering retail technology and omnichannel innovation, has opened entries for the eighth edition of the RTIH Innovation Awards, sponsored by 3D Cloud, Business France, and Retail Technology Show 2027.
Winners will be announced at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards Ceremony, which will take place at The HAC in Central London on November 4, 2026.
The awards are open to companies worldwide, not just those based in the United Kingdom. Projects and initiatives should have been completed or substantially completed within the previous 12 months. Entry is free, and organisations can submit entries in multiple categories.
The 2026 awards feature 25 categories, covering areas including Bricks and Mortar Innovation, Supply Chain Innovation, Payments Innovation, Most Innovative UK Retailer, Most Innovative Retailer (Rest of World), Emerging Retail Technology Innovation of the Year, Retail Media Innovation, RFID Project of the Year, Digital Transformation Project of the Year, Customer Experience Excellence, Omnichannel Retail Initiative of the Year, AI Innovation, and Sustainable Retail Innovation.
Other award categories include Best Data Analytics Driven Retail Initiative, Best Use of Automation in the Retail Sector, Inclusive Technology Innovation, Technology Vendor of the Year (UK), Technology Vendor of the Year (Rest of World), Startup of the Year, Hospitality Technology Innovation, Technology Implementation of the Year (UK), Technology Implementation of the Year (Rest of World), Best Retailer/Technology Supplier Relationship, Overall Winner, and the RTIH Editor’s Choice Award.
Several categories are new for 2026, including Emerging Retail Technology Innovation of the Year, Retail Media Innovation, RFID Project of the Year, and Hospitality Technology Innovation.
For the Technology Implementation of the Year categories, eligible projects must have been completed between August 2025 and August 2026 and demonstrate clear objectives, effective implementation, and measurable results.
