The Society for Professional Journalist (SPJ) is currently accepting entries for the Sigma Delta Chi Awards for Excellence in Professional Journalism which seeks to recognize the best in professional journalism in categories covering print, radio, television, newsletters, art/graphics, online and research.
The contest is open to any work published or broadcast by a U.S. or international media outlet whose work has been published or broadcast in 2018. Freelance work is eligible.
The nine categories award will honor winners at an awards reception which will take place at the National Press Club, Washington, D.C. USA in June 2019.
Applications must be submitted using the online entry form. Entries are due by February 19, 2019.
