The TED Fellows programme is accepting applications for the TED2023 Fellowship, which recognises folks working on the ground on world-changing ideas — the doers, makers, inventors, advocates, filmmakers and photographers, musicians and artists, educators, scientists, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, and human rights activists. Anyone at work on a future-shaping idea who is above 18 years of age can apply.

Annually, the TED Fellows programme selects by open application a new set of extraordinary, multidisciplinary individuals. The programme seeks for innovators on the rise who are doing bold, original work in their respective fields.

Interested persons are encouraged to learn more about the support the TED Fellows programme provides and read TED tips for applying before submitting an application.

To apply, entrants will need to submit an application online during the TED open application cycle. A written application is the primary means for showcasing an applicant’s work. Through it, the applicant tells the organisers what makes his/her work unique and impactful. Applicants are advised to write clearly for a general audience and assume the organisers know nothing about the applicant’s field. The programme accepts applications written only in English and does not accept late submissions.

The organisers read all the applications and as a result the process takes time. Applicant should expect to hear back from the organisers eight months after the application closes. All applicants are notified whether or not they have been selected to join the TED Fellows programme.

Applications for the 2023 TED Fellowship programme will close on June 30, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. UTC.
