The World Bank Group (WBG)/International Monetary Fund (IMF) Civil Society Policy Forum (CSPF) at this year’s WBG/IMF Spring Meetings will take place from April 14 to 17, 2026, at the Bank’s headquarters in Washington DC in the United States.
The CSPF, the World Bank Group’s largest platform for engagement with civil society, brings together over 1,000 representatives of civil society organisations (CSOs) from all over the world for a weeklong forum for CSOs to dialogue and exchange views with WBG and IMF staff, their peers, government delegations, and other stakeholders in an open and collaborative space.
The CSPF takes place twice each year, during the WBG and IMF Spring Meetings in April and at their Annual Meetings in October.
The CSPF is made up of approximately 30 sessions, selected from an open call for proposals by a CSO working group. It is held in the same venue as the WBG-IMF Spring and Annual Meetings, in-person with hybrid components. However, participants and speakers can participate in-person or virtually.
According to the WBG, CSOs include non-governmental organisations, community groups, labour unions, indigenous peoples’ movements, faith-based organisations, professional associations, foundations, think tanks, charitable organisations, and other not-for-profit organisations.
Representatives from the private sector, academia, or governmental bodies must apply for accreditation through the “Guests” or other respective registration categories as clarified on the Spring Meetings Website.
