Future News Worldwide is now accepting applications from young journalists who aspire to develop practical and editorial skills and hear directly from some of the world’s high-profile industry leaders for the 2018 intensive training programme scheduled to take place at the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh.

The two-day conference is organized by Future News Worldwide in partnership with the British Council and some global media organisations and takes place annually at the Scottish Parliament.  It offers aspiring young journalists the opportunity to develop practical and editorial skills and to hear directly from some of the world’s high-profile industry leaders.

It will bring together about 100 of the world’s most talented, motivated and passionate student journalists at the intensive media training programme.

The application is open to students who are passionate about journalism as well as to  writers, bloggers, vloggers, photographers, radio journalists or persons working in any other kind of media.

Interested applicants must be between the ages of 18 years and 25 years by July 1, 2018, must be registered students, enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate course of study on any subject at a university or higher educational institution.

Applicants must also be native speakers of English or be able to speak English at IELTS level 6.5 or equivalent, should not have participated in a previous iteration of Future News Worldwide or Future NEWS, and must be dedicated to a career in journalism, in any form

The 2018 conference will be held on July 5 and 6  2018.
