Digital Media Europe holds DME14 in London

Digital Media Europe (DME), the top digital news media event  for publishers, is set to hold its 2014 DME programme in London from April 7 to 9, 2014. It is tagged ‘DME14’. According to DME “The major goal of Digital Media Europe is to help individuals and organizations alike push towards 50% of revenue from digital.”

DME14_940x615DME14 will include new interactive breakout sessions and off-site visits. The main moderator for DME14, Diego Carvajal is one of the great discoveries from Digital Media Latina 2013. Mr. Carvajal is the Content Manager at ICCK and responsible for the digital enhancement of the content that comes from the different media outlets owned by GSD group. “My role can be summarized as the generation of relevant multi platform and multi device experiences for our audiences” says Mr. Carvajal.

DME14 noted that the most significant challenges publishers face are: Be on top of video, real-time bidding, mobile and native advertising to grow digital advertising in 2014; Learn and move on from the early one-track implementations of digital paid content; Leverage their editorial strengths and e-commerce competences to market a wide range of smart and innovative content offers; Learn from pure players and start ups with unusual new revenue models.
