Edetaen Ojo Nominated for Conferment with IIM Fellowship

Mr. Edetaen Ojo, the Executive Director of Media Rights Agenda (MRA) has been nominated  for conferment of the Fellowship of the Institute of Information  Management (FIIM) for his “exemplary performance over the years in the society and Industry”.

This was made known in a letter from the Board of Directors, Governing Council and Management of the Institute of Information Management (IIM) – Africa, signed by Dr. Oyedokun Ayodeji Oyewole, its President /Chairman and Mr. Musa Zubairu, its Registrar, informing Ojo of the nomination.

According to the letter, “The Fellow of the Institution of Information Management is a unique award that is specially reserved for personalities who have distinguished themselves in the society through service, selflessness and other peculiar contributions through which the lives of many have been affected positively.”

The Institute of Information Management (IIM) – Africa said it confers Professional Fellowship on members who have made substantial contribution to the development of the Information Management and Technology profession, its practices or the Institute of Information Management itself while Honorary Fellow is conferred on other professionals with backgrounds outside of Information Management but are identified as having made significant contributions that impact on the profession or the Institute of Information Management.

The Induction/Investiture ceremony is scheduled to hold on Saturday November 15, 2014 at Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
