The Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani, has announced plans by the Federal Government to create an alliance to provide affordable internet access for all Nigerians.
In a statement signed by the Minister’s Strategic Communications Adviser, Mr. Osibo Imhoitsike, the Minister said the success of the Ministry’s digital economy initiatives would heavily depend on connectivity which has been given priority in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and is reflected in the infrastructure pillar of the ministry’s Strategic Blueprint.
Dr. Tijani said: “There’s a lot of work to be done and it’s is only the beginning as we move towards expanding and improving access to quality internet.”
