HOMEVIDA Calls for Original Scripts for Short Films

The Nigeria Integrity Films Award, HomeVida,  is calling on young and creative Nigerians to send their original scripts for short films for entries into the HomeVida Awards for 2014.

The HomeVida Awards which is an initiative of Public and Private Development Centre (PPDC) is calling for submissions in three categories namely, the investors’ protection prize, endowed by the Securities and Exchange Commission; the Human Development prize endowed by United Nations Millennium Campaign; and recognition for the Best Anti-trafficking in Persons Script by United Nations Office on Drugs and Crimes (UNODC) and funded by the European Union.

The competition is open to Nigerians between ages 16 and 30 who are creative in their imagination, artistic in imagery and profound in thinking.

Each of the winners will receive N100,000 prize and take part in a one-day seminar hosted by Nollywood’s best directors, screenwriters and film makers.

Interested and qualified individuals are encouraged to upload their entries and submit their scripts at  www.homevida.org. Entries close on June 13, 2014.
