The JournalismAI Fellowship Programme, an initiative of the JournalismAI team at Polis, the journalism think-tank at the London School of Economics and Political Science, supported by the Google News Initiative, is set to hold its annual JournalismAI Festival.

The Festival is scheduled to hold on December 5 and 6, 2023 and will feature two days of engaging discussions, presentations, and case studies, centered around the innovative use of AI in news reporting.

The Festival will take place online, starting from 11:00 AM GMT on both days, allowing journalists, technologists, and enthusiasts from all corners of the globe to join.

It will kick off on December 5 with the JournalismAI Fellowship Showcase. The 2023 cohort of the Fellowship will unveil its innovative projects, showcasing AI-powered tools, with members of the cohort sharing their experiences throughout the journey.

The second day of the festival will focus on enriching conversations and discussions on “Delving Deeper into AI.” The discussions will delve into the vast potential of AI for newsrooms, examining its practical applications and the challenges it presents.

The JournalismAI Fellowship Programme is an online initiative that brings together journalists and technologists from media organisations worldwide to explore innovative solutions to improve journalism via AI technologies.
