The Ogun State Police Command has declared Mr. Tolani Oluwaseun wanted after he was fingered as the source of a story that allegedly maligned the character of the Secretary to the Ogun State Government (SSG), Mr. Tokunbo Talabi.
Tolani is said to be an accomplice of Mr. Femi Davies, publisher of MetreNews and President of the Society of Digital Newspaper Owners of Nigeria, who was accused of being responsible for syndicating the story.
Officials of a commercial bank are reported to have been quizzed by DSS operatives to explain the circumstances surrounding the release and manipulation of the statement of account of Superflux, a company where the SSG had worked. The bank was accused of not maintaining strict adherence to rules and regulations guiding banking operations in Nigeria.
