On September 11, 2026, a contingent of heavily armed operatives of the Nigeria Police invaded JKD TV Hamada Radio Network in Millennium City, Kaduna State, over a video explainer produced by Mrs Zainab Salihu Yabagi, a staff member of the station, concerning Ibrahim Masari, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Political Affairs.

Reports have it that the police officers arrived at the station and requested to see Mrs Yabagi but could not find her.

The police operatives then arrested Mr Charles Abah, the station’s General Manager, and a security guard during the operation after they failed to find and arrest Mrs Yabagi, whom the Kaduna State Police Command had earlier declared wanted. The policemen claimed that they had instructions to arrest Mrs Yabagi.

The police took Mr Abah and the security guard to the Kaduna State Police Command Headquarters, where they were detained.
