President Tinubu Replaces CEOs of Parastatals Under the Ministry of Information and National Orientation

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of eight new Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) for parastatals and agencies under the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation.

The appointments, which take immediate effect, were announced on October 19, 2023, through a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale.

The appointees and parastatals they will be heading include: Mr. Lanre Issa-Onilu, Director-General/CEO, National Orientation Agency (NOA); Mr. Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos, Director-General/CEO, Nigerian Television Authority (NTA); Dr. Muhammed Bulama, Director-Genera/CEO, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN); and Mr. Charles Ebuebu, Director-General/CEO, National Broadcasting Commission (NBC)

The rest are: Mr. Jibrin Baba Ndace, Director-General/CEO, Voice of Nigeria (VON); Dr. Lekan Fadolapo, Director-General/CEO, Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON); Mr. Ali Muhammed Ali, Managing Director/CEO, News Agency of Nigeria (NAN); and Mr. Dili Ezughah, Executive Secretary/CEO; Nigerian Press Council (NPC).

The President tasked the newly appointed head of parastatals to drive innovation and create new opportunities for Nigerians which can be achieved through the effective reform of these key government institutions, which function to unify Nigerians, reshape mindsets, and showcase the nation’s greatness to the rest of the world.
