On June 19, 2021, at about 11.30 pm local time, a popular radio presenter, Mr Titus Badejo, was shot dead by masked gunmen while he was leaving a clubhouse where he also works as a disc jockey.
Titus, popularly called “Ejanla”, meaning “big fish”, has worked with Space FM and later Naija FM in Ibadan. He was reportedly shot by two masked men on motorbike. The masked men ordered Titus and his friends who were with him out of the car and asked them to lie on the ground. Thereafter they shot only Tutus and left without taking anything or hurting any of his friends with him.
A source disclosed that the deceased had been at the club with his friends from 9.00pm but when they were leaving in his car, the two masked gun-wielding men stopped his car, asked all of them to alight and lie down andthereafter, they shot him.
