SEJ Receiving Entries for the Nina Mason Pulliam Awards on Environmental journalism

sej-board-staff-DC-Jan2019-600The Society of Environmental Journalists (SEJ) is accepting submissions for the Nina Mason Pulliam Awards, its annual recognition of excellence in environmental reporting.

The awards honour journalists in seven different categories, including feature story, investigative reporting, explanatory reporting and environmental book.

Journalists don’t have to be environmental specialists to enter; reporters who cover other beats are welcome to submit their work on environmental topics. International journalists are also encouraged to enter, but they must include an English translation with their entry if their work is written in a language other than English.

The winner of the Nina Mason Pulliam Award for the “best of the best” environmental reporting will receive US$10,000.The first place and second place winners in each category will receive US$500 and US$250, respectively.

Submission of applications closes on April 1, 2019.
