The Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) with support from UNEP Ozone Action is now receiving entries for its 2013 World TV Awards.
The 2013 World TV Awards under the Science/Environment Category has the theme “Creating Ozone Safe Generations”.
Prizes for the winner include a trophy from AIBD, US$5,000 and a trip to Manado, Indonesia to receive the award at the Asia Media Summit on May 29, 2013.
Genres being accepted for the award are TV documentary, short documentary/TV report, docu-drama, edutainment/infotainment TV programme and public service announcement/TV spot with a maximum duration of 30 minutes.
Materials produced within 24 months before submission are also accepted for entries. Productions in local languages can be submitted provided they are subtitled in English.
