Continental Reinsurance, a composite reinsurer offering capacity and services across the full spectrum of Non-Life and Life business lines, is inviting entries for the 9th edition of its Pan-African Re/Insurance Journalism Awards, which seek to recognize the outstanding work of journalists on insurance and reinsurance across the African continent.
The awards are an extension of Continental Reinsurance’s continued commitment to promoting excellence in the industry. They also honor Continental Reinsurance’s contributions to help individuals and businesses recover from loss and injury.
Launched in 2015, the awards have recognized the outstanding work of journalists on re/insurance from across the continent.
Entries are expected from entrants who can demonstrate how their articles have advanced the understanding of the re/insurance sector in Africa and they will be rewarded with the knowledge that they are playing a vital role in uplifting societies and promoting progress among communities across Africa.
The 2024 awards have categories for Best Re/Insurance Print Article (English), Best Re/Insurance Online Article (English), Best Re/Insurance Broadcast Article (English), Best Re/Insurance French Entry (Print, Broadcast or Online), Best Re/Insurance Arabic Entry (Print, Broadcast or Online), and the Dr. Femi Oyetunji Future Talent Award. Please note however that the Dr. Femi Oyetunji Future Talent Award category is not open for entries.
The submission of entries closes on February 15, 2024.
