The Federal Government of Nigeria has launched three new digital platforms under an initiative to improve transparency, accountability, and the implementation of reforms across the Federal Public Service. The platforms are the Reform Tracker, Knowledge Repository, and the National Strategy for Public Service Reforms (NSPSR) Dashboard.

The platforms were launched on July 14, 2026, in Abuja by the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR).

Speaking at the event, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, represented by his Senior Technical Adviser, Prof. Babatunde Bolaji Bernard, said the platforms form an integrated digital system that will improve how government reforms are monitored, documented, and communicated across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).

According to him, the Reform Tracker will help monitor the progress of reform programmes, track implementation timelines, and measure performance across MDAs. This, he said, will strengthen accountability and ensure reforms are carried out as planned.

The Knowledge Repository will serve as the Federal Government’s central online library for reform-related documents, including policies, reports, guidelines, and case studies. It is expected to preserve institutional knowledge, reduce duplication of efforts, support evidence-based policymaking, and encourage continuous learning in the public service.

The NSPSR Dashboard, on the other hand, will provide real-time updates on the implementation of the National Strategy for Public Service Reforms. It will help government officials track progress, identify gaps, measure achievements, and make informed decisions.

Senator Akume said the launch of the three platforms reflects the Federal Government’s commitment to building a transparent, technology-driven, and results-oriented public service that delivers better services to Nigerians.

Meanwhile, the Director-General of BPSR, Dr Dasuki Ibrahim Arabi, described the launch as an important step in using technology to strengthen public sector reforms. He said the platforms were created to help the government effectively implement, monitor, measure, and sustain reforms across the public service.

Dr Arabi noted that while Nigeria has introduced several reform initiatives over the years, the lack of a unified system for tracking progress, measuring results, and preserving institutional knowledge has limited their impact. He said the new platforms were designed to address these challenges.

In his welcome address, the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Affairs Office, Dr John Chidiebere Ezeamama, congratulated the BPSR team for developing the platforms. He said they would support the implementation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda by improving accountability, preserving institutional knowledge, and providing practical tools for monitoring government policies and programmes.

The event closed with a live demonstration showing how the three digital platforms work.
