Kigali Hosts ‘eLearning Africa’ 2018 Conference

elearningafricaKigali, the Rwandan capital, will from September 26 to 28, 2018 host the 13th edition of the eLearing Africa Conference, Africa’s largest conference and exhibition on technology supported learning and skills development.

The Conference which will be co-hosted by the Republic of Rwanda in collaboration with the Rwanda Convention Bureau will explore the theme “Uniting Africa” with a view to addressing critical questions such as how digital technology and education can help to break down barriers to competitiveness and how technology and education can combine to unite Africa, among others.

Holding at the Kigali Convention Centre Conference has also put out a call for papers for the conference as well as called for proposals from those who would like to host a pre-conference event, be involved in one of its multiple session formats, or share their expertise on a specific topic.

Interested persons have until January 30, 2018 to submit their papers.

The three day event offers participants the opportunity to develop multinational and cross-industry contacts and partnerships, as well as to enhance their knowledge and skills.

Participants will have access to a broad variety of different formats such as core dialogues, debates, discovery demos, knowledge exchange sessions, knowledge factories, networking meet-ups, panel talks, plenary sessions and poster presentations on specific topics and informal networking opportunities in which practitioners share their experiences, ideas, new information and perspectives.

For the 2018 event, the eLearning Africa also announced the availability of tailor-made packages to position any interested organisation as a market leader in a community of more than 40,000 education and technology professionals across Africa.
