    With many years of experience in financial management, Kingsley has overseen finance and accounting matters at Media Rights Agenda for nearly two decades. He has a deep knowledge of financials policies, procedures and systems.

    He is primarily responsible for implementing the organization’s financial policies to ensure operational efficiency, assisting in the planning and preparation of the organization’s annual budgets as well as project budgets, maintaining financial records, including records and receipts for all financial transactions, and accordingly ensuring that financial records are kept up-to-date; assisting in the conduct of financial audits, monitoring all bank transactions, including participating in reconciliation of transactions; performing financial analysis periodically to detect and resolve any issues arising from them; and preparing balance sheets and invoices, among other functions.

    An enthusiast for freedom of expression, online safety and a more inclusive digital space for all, prior to working with Media Rights Agenda, he worked as an audit officer with a textile company in Isolo, Lagos State.

    He attended Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi in Edo State, where he graduated in Accountancy. He has attended several courses on Financial Management, Financial Reporting for Donors and financial sustainability for NGOS at different times organized by USAID, the West African Civil Society Institute (WACSI); and Humentum, among others, in different parts of Nigeria as well as in Accra, Ghana, and Lisbon, Portugal.
