The Paradigm Initiative is now accepting applications for the 8th Digital Rights and Inclusion Forum (#DRIF) scheduled to hold from April 21  to 23, 2020.

The #DRIF has become an important platform for shaping conversations at the intersection of human rights, development and digital technologies in Africa. It has in the past welcomed digital rights activists, telecommunications industry professionals, government officials with oversight over telecommunications policy, members of the academia and many more. The venue of #DRIF20 will be communicated in due course.

The annul forum is a platform where tough topical global issues around Internet rights, especially in Africa, are discussed by civil society, technology companies, government, academia and other stakeholders.

The 2020 edition will build on the expanded scope of the forum which has included digital inclusion from 2019, after 6 editions which focused heavily on digital rights till 2018.

Applications to attend #DRIF20 can be made online at http://bit.ly/DRIF2020Apply while side-session proposals should be submitted online at http://bit.ly/DRIF2020Sessions. Selected delegates and side-session proposal organizers will be contacted after the close of applications on December 31 2019 and only selected applicants will be contacted.
