Monday is a human rights lawyer with over four years of experience in litigation, legal drafting and legal research. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from Madonna University in Nigeria. He obtained his Barrister at Law qualification from the Nigerian Law School upon graduation from the university and was subsequently called to the Nigerian Bar.
Monday has been in active legal practice since being called to the Bar. He started his career as a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Legal Aid scheme under its Community Development Service (CDS) programme during his service year.
Prior to joining Media Rights Agenda as a Legal Officer, he practised with number of law firms in Nigeria, including Yemi Omodele & Co, Anthony Regha and Associates, Onwumere & Co (Marakata Solicitors) and Abundance Grace Chambers.
He is an avid reader and enjoys travelling and sporting activities.
