PLURAL+, a youth video festival on migration, which is a joint initiative of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), is inviting film entries from young filmmakers aged 25 years or younger on migration, diversity and social inclusion for its next youth video festival.

PLURAL+ is a youth video festival that encourages and empowers global youth to explore the issues of migration, diversity, social inclusion, and the prevention of xenophobia and to share their creative vision with the world.

Video entries are five minutes maximum and can be of any genre (animation, documentary, music video, comedy, etc.) as long as they convey a message that can contribute to making the audience think in constructive ways about the cross-cutting issues of migration, diversity, social inclusion, and the prevention of xenophobia. In addition, video entries can be in any language as long as English subtitles are provided.

Video entries are organized in three age categories: youth that are up to 12 years old; youth between 13 to 17 years old; and youth between 18 to 25 years old.

Videos are chosen on the basis of their potential to have an impact on the audience, as well as on their artistic, innovative, and creative content. The recipients of the PLURAL+ International Jury Distinctions will be invited, all expenses paid, to participate in the PLURAL+ Ceremony, which will take place in New York City in late 2023.

Entries close on June 30, 2023. For more information, please visit https://pluralplus.unaoc.org/.
